Module 2 - Nerves, Vessels and Lymphatic Drainage: Page 3 of 7

Add the pudendal nerve and trace its path from the sacrum (sacral plexus) to the pelvic diaphragm and its termination in the perineum. You will have to rotate the pelvis to view the entire path of the nerve. (TIP: If you have trouble finding the pudendal nerve, use the Anatomy Icon and find the pudendal nerve in the index. Turn the "Sun" off and on as you watch the pelvis.)
Pelvic apetures

Through what foramen does the pudendal nerve pass in order to reach the perineum?

What are the three terminal branches of the pudendal nerve?

Where would you adminster the pudendal nerve block for pain control (e.g., during childbirth)?
