Posterior internal iliac arteries
Add the major arteries of the pelvis, focusing on the internal iliac artery and its divisions.
Add the branches of the  posterior division of the internal iliac artery.
Use the Highlight tool to identify the three classic branches of the posterior division:

Add the branches of the anterior division of the internal iliac artery.

Male anterior iliac arteries
Use the Highlight tool to identify the following branches of the anterior division:

Add the inferior epigastric artery, a branch of the external iliac artery.
Add the testicular arteries.

Note that the testicular arteries are direct branches of the abdominal aorta that arise just inferior to the renal arteries. We can see this relationship on the left but the right side is unclear in this model.

Add the testicular veins.

Just like the female gonadal veins, the ovarian veins, the right testicular vein drains directly into the inferior vena cava (IVC). The left testicular vein drains into the left renal vein, which then drains into the IVC. This asymmetry can predispose individuals to left-sided varicocele formation!

Add the inferior vena cava (IVC) and left renal veinto show the drainage pathway clearly.
