In this final step, you'll use cross-sectional views to deepen your spatial understanding of female pelvic anatomy.

Add cross sections to the 3D window to enhance your view of the pelvis. As part of this process, the left side of this individual will be digitally removed to provide a clear view of the female pelvic organs. Rotating the model to right side will allow you to appreciate these organs within the pelvis.

Although the peritoneal folds are not visible in this model, use the illustration as a guide and identify the following structures in the multi-planar reconstruction (MPR) window:

Vesicouterine pouch (again, between the bladder and uterus)

Rectouterine pouch or Pouch of Douglas (between the uterus and rectum)
