Sublingual and submadndibular glands are innervated by preganglionic parasympathetic nerves from the chorda tympani (a branch of the facial nerve CN VII) via the submandibular ganglion. The parotid gland is innervated by preganglionic parasympathetic fibers from the glossophayngeal nerve (CN IX) via the otic ganglion. |
