	What is the function of the sphincter pupillae muscle?
Pupillary constriction.

	What are the afferent and efferent components of the pupillary light reflex?
Afferent = optic nerve CN II. Efferent = occulomotor nerve CN III.

	What is the function of the ciliary muscles?
Accommodation of the lens for near vision.

	Sympathetic innervation of the lacrimal gland, sphincter pupillae and the ciliary muscles is post-ganglionic. Where does this innervation originate?
The sympathetic plexus of the internal carotid artery.
